Hello, I'm Tim Ray/Songwriter - As an experienced musician and life-long songwriter (and now exclusively studio based) - I compose original songs - written to entertain, inform and question the listerner.

Personally written, composed, performed, recorded and produced by myself in my Dorset studio (Foxglove Cottage Studio).  My personal lyrics and melodic themes combine to encapsulate my feelings - often with a subtle narrative, but I enjoy story telling in it's simplest form. My lyrical ideas often come from topical news items, personal experience or a simple phrase, followed by grabbing a favourite acoustic guitar and 'seeing what happens'.
